I've downloaded cain and abel on my new windows 8 computer but it will not open, it says
"The program can't start because packet.dll is missing from your computer"
i bought the laptop a few days ago.

have you tried to re download it?

Redownload it, and run it in Compatibility mode. Right click > properties > Compatibility Tab > Run in Windows 7 Mode. Should do the trick if not let me know
