So its my first time getting on xbl with xblse on my jtag and when i try and join xbox live it days update is needed to do so and im on 16547 what should I do should I just update it like it says?
Reason why im asking is cause ive heard ppl say if u do your jtag could get bricked??


Please help me out!!

It should just be an avatar update which is harmless. Plus people at stealth say that updating your xbox at anytime is just fine and will never brick it so I go with what they say and say its fine to update.

if at the top of the box it says "System Update" then you are not on the latest dash

however

if it says "Update Required" then it is just the avatar update and is safe to proceed

I wouldnt believe that. Taking an OTA XBL update is NEVER good for a Jtag/RGH. Think about it. You are running a hacked image. Why would Microsoft provide one?
