If the xenon has a 12v fan mod in it how long can you host or have it on without it overheating?

It honestly doesnt matter on the Amount of the thermal paste, but the Quality. It also depends on the condition of the motherboard. A 12V Fan mod always helps, But I have had many people add extra case fans to push more air.

a 12v fan mod is not always better for the console as it stresses the console to keep it going. it may seem cooler but if you check the temps alot of the times they will be in the high 60s still

How do you run fan mods? I highly doubt it "Stresses the Console" to keep it going. And I just finished up a customers unit last night with a 12V Fan and an external Fan. Had that Arctic Silver Thermal Paste in it as well. After 4 hrs of Idle/Gaming Temps were in the upper 40's.

Maybe with an added external but not 12v alone also matters if you are using the hardware method or just the fan speed xex patches

I have never been a fan of slicing wires. I always crossed out the voltage regulator right there for the fans to make them run higher. This way, There is no strain on any part of the console. It takes power from the brick.

Also, On my jtags, I patch the nand's fan speed. No Hardware Required
