Hello TTG

Is the only way of seeing what type of graphics card would fit into my pc is by opening it and looking at my motherboard and seeing if my power supply can handle it?.

You're looking for a PCI-E x16 socket

You will also need to check if your PSU has one of these (or 2 for high end cards)

The wattage can usually be found on a sticker on the PSU.
