at most game stores you can pay about 5-10 dollars and they will put your game in a machine that runs and fixes your game.

I always put toothpaste in my disc, worked for me sometimes.

There are a few things you could do to clean discs.

1. Take it to gamestop and tell them you need scratches removed off of your game.

2. Use a Q-tip and gentle put toothpaste on the clear side of the disc. Wait around 30 minutes for it to dry, you will then need to use a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol to wipe off the toothpaste from your disc. Run your disc under water until all rubbing alcohol and toothpaste are gone and it should work like new. I've done it on a few of my old gamecube games.
