I Have a few game codes and i want to add them to my steam INVENTORY not my account (already have the games) but it wont let me is there any way you can redeem the key as a gift?

The only way you can do it is by giving a friend the code, otherwise it activates and installs it automatically

But it doesnt give you the option to add it to your inventory so how would that work?

Every time I've redeemed a code, it instantly installs, it never goes to your inventory at all. Unless, the code gives you access to a free gift like DotA 2 did

Codes can't be redeemed to your Inventory. Period.
