I am about to lose a close family member in the next few days's for the first time in my life.

How do I prepare for such a thing?

I also have thought in my head I cant get rid off and they annoy me all the time it even effect''s my work sometimes it makes me feel weak as ****.

Normally gaming and watching anime help's me forget and/or feel better but it's not anymore what should I do?

I ask on here because the community here are the closest type of people to me so I want an opinion or some help.

Thank's guy's.

There's no proper way to prepare, you'll just adjust to it when it happens

I lost my grandmother and grandfather and my dog over the summer. All the advice I have is to stay strong. I'm still trying to get over it. There isn't way to just make the pain disappear.

Im sorry to hear.

That's what I fear the pain that never fade's.

I dont want it to stay with me forever.

I fear it to tell the truth.

the best thing you can do is stay strong, go listen to some music and stay strong and prepare.

Gather yourself with friends and try and talk it through. Find some people who can relate.

Sometimes intense exercise helps. Mostly with anger though, not so much with being sad. =/

Hope you feel better when the worst comes.

Just think, would they want you to be upset over their passing?
Probably not.

The best thing to do is stay strong, keep your head up high and don't let it drag you down.
It'll hit you pretty hard but you'll 'get over it' eventually, good luck mate.

R.I.P Whoever is passing.

I guess spend as much time as you can with them, maybe therapy? I'm not sure, thoughts with you.

Honestly the way I deal with emotional pain like this certainly will not help at all. But all I can suggest is try doing things that try to keep you happy and just try to keep your head held high.

I'm sorry that you're having to go through this. But I am sure you'll be fine. Just try to think positively.
