I recently bought a HD PVR 2 Gaming edition.
I Found out after buying it that my laptop was not good enough performance wise.
I just want to know, how much it would cost to either buy a new PC or Laptop capable of handling the PVR.
Thanks!

If I had to give a price range of a minimal computer to put you in the clear, I would say spend at least $500. But i3 will run okay, but may have some issues. Mine has messed up a couple of times because of my i3. Make sure you get one with a lot of memory too.
