His vehicle WAS insured, and no it WAS NOT duped. What happened to him was a GLITCH, that use to be common. The same glitch has happened to me multiple times, although I read in the patch notes from afew updates ago that they had fixed this issue, apparently it still happens but it does seem to be a rare occurrence now. Just wanted people to stop saying "you have to insure it noob!" or "yeah it was duped blah blah".. He clearly says he bought it legitimately, which means it was insured and not duped.. If he didn't have insurance the "(destroyed)" text wouldn't appear when he called the mechanic, nothing would appear.. :facepalm:
