I did not order a HDD with it and I do not have an HDD. I was wandering if you could use a USB as the HDD? I know you can use them for retails, but would it still work with an RGH? I know you have to put stuff on the root of the HDD but would it be the same for a USB? (I have like 3 32GB USBs.)

Would there be a way to install games on my USB? I mean I plan to get a HDD asap, but I just don't have the money right now. Would a USB be able to install games?

You can just put games on the USBs and play them off there. The only real reason you need a HDD is for using an online service or using plugins.

you don't need an hdd to use an online service. you can make it so the plugins run off the usb.

It'll time out if you try to run it off a USB.. And if you want to use the KV flashing method that XBLSE uses then you would need to have the KV.bin and the CPUKey.bin on the root of your HDD and not anywhere else

i have personally been online running plugins off a usb multiple times. + it's safer to flash the kv the original way and not through putting it on the root of the hdd.
Example:
plugin1 = Usb:\ServerPluginHere.xex
plugin2 = Usb:\xbdm.xex

Well obviously it's safer to flash the KV to the NAND. But I guess you may be right, but I do know for previous dash updates it wouldn't let you use it off a USB or in a folder. I guess I'll have to see if it'll run off my USB now, I guess you learn something every day
