So here we have a Muslim family visiting from somwhere that was forcibly removed from the Empire State building for praying, without even hurting anyone or disturbing anyone. I find this pretty offensive and wrong.

Security guards at the Empire State Building in New York City forcibly removed a Muslim family who, without disturbing any tourists, had knelt down and begun to pray on the skyscrapers observation deck, according to a new lawsuit.
They walked over to an isolated area of the Observatory where they began to pray silently when two security guards approached, the complaint states. One of them allegedly put his hands on Mr. Tirmizi and menacingly poked at his chest, loudly asserting that they were not allowed to pray there.
All four family members, who reside in Farmingville a community on Long Island were then forcibly escorted...to the Observatory elevator, down to the lobby, and out of the Empire State Building entirely, the suit claims.

The security guards need to be put in jail for breaking the family's first amendment rights.

What's the deference if we Christians can't pray at school or any public place they shouldn't either. And this goes with all religions. And what else is bad at my school we can't even say the pledge unless someone gets offended. So I'm going to agree with the security guards.

Haha, I just found this article.

Just goes to show how much words can change something around, and they even put the WTC in the picture, wow.
'Makeshift Mosque' what?
It's obvious that people were thinking terrorism, which is almost understandable, but not really.
I don't know if there are actually any strict rules of what you can and can't do on the observation deck, but If there are, I seriously doubt 'No praying' is going to be one of them.

This is really messed up, but not surprising... The grand old state I live in did this. The security guards could still be a little upset from 9/11 I'm just putting it in their possible perspective.

Why does it have to be one or the other?
There's nothing stopping Christians and Muslims praying side by side.
