Lighting, shading, and alignment, could use some work.
I'm personally not feeling that "glitch line" type effect within the "glowing sphere". Could be me, but anyways yeah its pretty basic. *ahippya*

The sphere is kind of bright.
I know it's supposed to be bright, but most of it is solid white...

There's a layer ontop or bellow the sphere that you forgot to blend in.
I'd personally remove the smoke and grunge stuff, leave it like hands coming out of the dark, and and more lighting and shading to the hands.
