So can someone explain to me why the campaign doesn't save? I recently got it for the xbox one and played a couple missions. I came back a day after and I had to start all over? why?

This has been a issue ever since the game first came out. I believe there were a few updates that were suppose to address this issue so make sure you are up to date on those.

Try not turning off your console or quitting the game mid-mission. I would either exit to the main menu and then turn your console off or wait until the mission is over.

I happened to me on my first play through. If you're playing on console try deleting the gamesave, that worked for me a few months back.

Yea this happen to me so I beat it without quitting the game and it saved once I completed the campaign

This has happened to me about about 3 times now each time i was about 2-3 hours into the campaign. Each time i also lost all the secret weapons and dog tags i had collected too
