if you're visiting Cali i'd suggest going to Los Angeles and San Francisco, and if you can try to make your way to the east coast, Miami and NYC are good tourist spots as well.

Lavish wrote Someone could pay me to visit NYC and I still wouldn't go.
Absolutely filthy with that many people crammed into one space.

Places like Vegas, Colorado, and Washington DC are fun to visit.
Although if you're easy influenced you can lose all your money in Vegas the first half hour you're there.

Why is everyone just naming cities. I like going to the national parks like Yellowstone, Yosemite, the grand canyon or the great smoky mountains.

Since you said that you are going to be in california, I would recommend taking a trip down to Los angeles, and Hollywood. There are tons of stuff for tourists to do in hollywood such as studio tours and stuff like that.

You're going to be flying into Los Angeles and staying in Fresno... I think the west coast would be a great place to tourist.

I'd definitely check out these places:
-Grand Canyon, it's only one state over and pretty inexpensive if you were going to drive down.
-Las Vegas, you can have a good time and not spend too much money.
-Seattle, I heard it's a beautiful city. Comes off to me as a mellow, hipster paradise.
-San Diego, in November this would be a great destination to warm up.
-Colorado ski resort, you should really try snowboarding or skiing, and what better place to go then Colorado, USA? I've never been snowboarding out in the west, but I would love to.

Have fun on your trip, and good for you for going to meet a good friend from Xbox.

San Francisco is very fun to visit in California.

Golden Gate bridge is also a nice site

One last thing you can maybe do is go on a tour

of Alcatraz Island that's always an option!

You'll pretty much be able to see everything in California. Las Vegas is cool but if you're only staying in the west then yeah id go to Washington. 4000 should be plenty

I live in CA and pretty close to LA, maybe an hour drive South, but their are a lot of cool places to visit whilst you're here. Definitely the best State to roam about for a visitor.

I'd recommend checking out all of LA from Downtown to Hollywood. Venice Beach, Santa Monica, Orange County, San Diego, Disneyland area, San Francisco, and some of the natural parks around here. If you don't got enough cash to go to far South or North of LA-Fresno area, I'd definitely recommend checking out Hollywood at night. Maybe even climb up Hollywood hill if you got the chance, better at night even though you're not allowed to. Such a beautiful view from up there.
