Is there a program that lets you check what is taking up the most space.I dont remember downloading alot of stuff on my hardrive [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

I'm not sure about a program. What I do is right click>properties on a group of folders and look at the size of those folder and just narrow it down. This might be a good time to go into your control panel and uninstall un-needed programs. Also go through all your files and folders and delete un-wanted stuff

Also, defragment the drive. That will organize it all and free up some space.

This was happening to my SSD, most of it was crappy Windows Hibernation files. I downloaded AVG PC Tune Up and it got rid of them. So try that.
