Hey guys, I was wondering, does Xbox Live check the consoles flash for any missing files? I'm asking because I deleted the Bootanim.xex from my flash so that I can have Fakeanim ( custom boot video ) as the only boot up video. When I did this I didn't think about the fact that Xbox Live may discover this when I connect to XBLS.
Will they discover this missing file? I have the original NAND dump, should I update the NAND with the original?
**Also. If i do update the NAND can I use Xell or Flash360? I don't have a NAND-x or any other NAND reader.
Please help. Will +Rep 20. Ask any additional questions.

ummm you should be fine. Ive been online with fakeanim and had no problems really. just be careful because fakeanim is classed as unsigned code but since it runs before XBLS starts to load then you should be fine. Hope I helped and don't worry about the rep.

No xbox live cannot detect that bootanim.xex is missing from your file system.

I almost bricked my console by messing with my bootanim. Word of advise, don't mess with it.
