Well, my sister works at Arby's and thank god, she hasn't messed up an order. But often times, the restaurant is crowded with people waiting on their food, while your manager is screaming at you to get the food out. Sometimes they make mistakes. Just show them your receipt and they will reimburse you. But if they mess up on your order again, they need to be fired.

I've had a bad order messed up. So we order three meals from McDonalds. Turns out they forgot on of the meals. We go back, showed them the receipt but they still make us charge twice for the meal. Never returned since.

The KFC by me, Runcorn (UK)constantly messes up orders, and takes about 10 minutes + to serve you. It's ridiculous. They no word of a lie must mess up at LEAST 35% of their orders. considering how many customers they get, that's a LOT!

I ordered hot chocolate from McDonald's twice, and both times they forgot to put the chocolate in it....

It was just steamed milk... and it tasted like grits....

I was upset!

-Poison wrote Alright so today I was hungry and had a bit of cash lying around so decided to get me some fast-food.
I ended up going to McDonald's and had a decent sized order due to ordering for some of my friends aswell.
I ended up going through the drive though because I was going to a movie right afterwards, so I had to hurry.
By the time I left, We checked our bags to eat on the way there and..... half of our food was missing.

By that time, it was too late and I was already half way to the movie.
It's just sad to know that you got ripped off.
I mean, come on fast-food industries!
Is it that hard to read a TV and put the correct order in?
This happens to me about every time I go to get food!

Dear lord.

And let this be the beginning of MY RANT - People who don't understand the difficulties of restaurants.

I work at Steak n' Shake (Grill Cook) and I work in the 3rd busiest Steak n' Shake in the South East (Regrading sales) and we have anywhere from 400 - 900 Customers between the hours of 11am - 4pm. It's a busy store, orders get messed up, food gets to the wrong car, orders are placed wrong, etc. It happens. You got to understand that the burger king is not JUST working on your order, they are working on the car before you, the car after you, the car ordering at the call box, the people inside the restaurant. Lots of things are going on at once, on top of doing all this the need to run drive thru times. Getting the food out as fast as possible. And, as you should know. Check your order before you leave.

Yeah this is common. Sometimes McDonalds would forget something and usually they might upgrade my French Fries, or give you an extra sandwich. Would do you expect when nobody is perfect. Also fast-food places tend to do this when they are busy, like on weekends.

I know McDonald's has a bad reputation for this, but you must acknowledge they can be real busy sometimes, as well as you they could have up to 100 other customers to serve, drive-thru is no different, the food is coming from the same place and mix-ups can happen easily enough if they have a busy workload to cater for, many of these places are under staffed aswell, I've never worked in any fast food joint but I've seen for myself how busy they can get, especially ones in town centers or other popular areas. I don't think it's right to pre-judge unless you've worked there and seen what it's like first hand. (Not that you would want to though, pretty shi^^y job lol)

When I was 16, I worked at Burgerking for a few months, and its a lot more difficult than you might think. First off, most of the people that work in fast food resturants are most likely teenagers.

You are also always in a rush, and are often multitasking as you are making multiple things at the same time. It is very easy to get confused and forget stuff.
