They may. Home court advantage against the Pacers could be crucial, considering they are pretty much rivals now.

Yes, they should care if they do not. The reason they beat the Pacers in game 7 last year was because they had homecourt advantage. It makes a large difference to have the crowd on your side.

even with a game 7 in indiana, i don't think the pacers will pull it off, miami have proven they can win close out games on the road

I think the only thing that is slowing them down is that they're tired chasing three. It's more of a mental thing. If you already won two straight, then it's probably annoying that you have to play 82 games before they start mattering in terms of getting three in a row. Heat should be ok in the postseason because they have so much experience of performing there and being down in hostile territory and stepping up.

Miami is gonna have a 3 Peat this year if they can keep all there players out of injuries and make sure they get rest!
