Get a windows if you want to edit. There is barely any tutorials for iMacs. I have a Toshiba Satellite 17.3" screen with 4gb RAM and 509 GB hard drive space and I got it for $282 refurbished a year or 2 ago.

If you need anymore help please PM me.

Thanks,
ASG

I would never edit on a pc. I would go with a mac. You wont regret it.

I've been a VFX artist for 6 years, I prefer a Mac over a PC if it's for any graphic work or editing. Don't listen to people who say pc is better, Mac is originally designed for graphics work and even the top movie makers use Mac. people who's talking here don't edit, and never edited on a mac before. I've done both, trust me it's an huge advice and would change your whole editing life.

I Use an iMac, theyre absolutely great for editing, its not the same on a windows, its extremely eaiser on a imac, and itll be better in the long run!
