these people piss me off. The people who think they are cool because they are hungry every class period. Like they and chew and are loud and it's aggravating and distracting to hear them open and close and rustle the packages and then people ask "ohhhhhh dude I'm s0 baked kan u lyke let me borrow a Dorito" like it's such a distraction. The people who eat in class are the people who always eat in class are always the people who ask "what are we doing" "I don't get it" "can I go to the bathroom" like shut up!!!!!!!! Please I care about my life.

I am sure I am not the only one who is thinking, doesn't your teacher not allow food or drink in the classroom?

I swear to god, there is this guy in my class and I sit beside him in a few classes, HE IS ALWAYS EATING. And its not just sweets/chocolates, it's PRINGLES and chewsy sweets. All I hear is 'crunch'. Although he gives me some and I don't even ask so ;) But yeah it can be very distracting and yes they have rules of no eating, but obviously people will break them

I suppose when I'm sometimes working (sixth form classes of between 6 and 12 people) I might have chewing gum or a chewy sweet if there's no discussion and it's independent work...

We also get to listen to music if we have headphones which is a bonus too

But yeah, I guess that makes me and the rest of my class guilty of eating in class, but it's non disruptive lol

If I'm honest, it doesn't distract me.
I don't know anyone who annoys people by doing so.
I, myself will admit that I eat in class sometimes tbh. Not Pringles! But stuff
But I do listen too

If it is chewing gum and eating normal, it isn't a problem , if they eating chips in class it is annoying or crunching loud it is frustrating, but my class doesn't allow food in class, but can eat in common room,

I hate when people eat in class especially when all you hear is the bag crinkling. -_-

Your kind of making a stereotype here lol(I don't know what grade your in but i'm in college) I eat in class all the time because I'm in classes from 8 in the morning to 8 at night working my tail off to get a good education. And no i'm not the person who asks "What are we doing" just because I went to the bathroom during class. This is very common in college classrooms because a lot of time people don't have time in between classes to eat. Can't wait to see your post when you get to this level lol.

Do you think you are cool? I'm not stereotyping, and the whole leaving class to use the bathroom and missing work wasn't directed towards just leaving to use the bathroom. I was kind of saying something that I did not explain very good because I typed the post on my phone in the halls on my way to next period. 99% of the people who in eat in my classes are females and they do more than just eat, they also text while they eat... thus why they are missing information in class because they are stuck on their phones, I'm a senior in high school and I will be going to college in the fall and I've been to numerous college campuses in the past 52 weeks and Ive seen how stuff works. Don't think because you are older than me that it means that I do not have experience. I get it, you don't have time to go to the bathroom prior to class, or you don't have time to eat before class, I understand that whole concept but bringing in full meals after lunch like McDonald's is kind of just annoying and rude. I did not explain myself enough in the post. Should I rewrite it for you and be more specific?
