If your console is booting but not displaying an image, start it up using the controller, and as soon as the first quadrant turns green to indicate that the Xbox is on, pull RT and press Y at the same time to reset your resolution. Make sure to hold it down for at least 20 seconds.

it just turns on and only the little power symbol is green but it does turn on with the controller

RGH will have a little red light inside near the AV port
If RGH wait as boot times can be bad
If you have a nand reader flash back original nand and then see if you get RROD then get secondary error code and then google it to get your error

First off make sure all your wires are good etc. If that don't work seems to me like you have to reball you GPU chip.
