im new to flashing and ive recently flashed my xbox 360, i just turned on my xbox and it said i have to update so i turned off my xbox and came here. can anyone help me out? as i said i havent updated yet

I flashed my own. But I flashed about 9 of my friends xboxs and their online but mines not. I flashed my old 3 xboxs i just dont know where I did wrong at.

Is that the original drive?
To flash to stock, load your dummy.bin as source firmware, load stock firmware as the target then spoof and carry on with the normal flashing procedure.
Alternatively you could try swapping out your current DVD drive for any other one, then do the update and once it has finished, swap your flashed drive back in.
