How do I purchase a hanger in GTA V singleplayer?

I really want to buy a tank but it says I have no where to store it.

Go to the airport... Theres a big house with a money sign on it on your minimap at the LSC airport. You could switch to trevor and store it at sandy shores hanger without buying one.

Every time I go to the airport I get a 3 star wanted level...
