When I turn my xbox on a black and silver xbox logo shows up then my name comes up and it automatically signs me. Never seen that before lol.

You might have the option on that signs in using the kinect since it is able to recognize your face.

I have that option enabled and it's convenient since it signs you in a lot quicker.

I don't use kinect mate. My boot image looks slick though lol

I think he has it on Intant-On... Try checking your power settings & seeing if it's that.
