Yes but you'd have to be a colossal nonce to put a Celeron in ANY system. Bottlenecking is a term used to people on forums when they've exhausted their little troubleshooting experience and then they tell someone "yeah as nothing else has worked your cpu must be bottlenecking"

My experience is not in question in any case.

ChRoNiCSnIpEzZ wrote sorry smart arse , forgot you was mr pc builder of the year , i wouldnt choose amd gpus ,everyone i know who has one has problems with them , nvidia are better id rather pay a little extra and get a gtx 660ti or gtx 670 than an r9 270. no doubt intel is better for cpu performance but if you are on a budget what can you do, id rather have a better gpu and more ram , an fx wouldnt bottlekneck so there would be no problem
I never said I was "mr pc builder of the year". I have had an AMD GPU for almost a year and a half and have never had a single issue. You can't just come out with "nvidia are better". An R9 270X is better than a GTX 760. So, yes, some NVIDIA cards re better than AMD but some AMD cards are better than other NVIDIA GPU's. An NVIDA GTX 660 Ti is going to perform a little better, but it wouldn't be too noticeable. The fact is, the GTX 660/660 Ti is an out-dated card and the R9 270X would be a better purchase. However, the GTX 660 has poorer performance than the R9 270X. The only reason to get a 660 over an R9 270X would be to save a little cash. Why don't you stop talking about "bottleneck"? OP could easily gt an Intel build within budget and a good card. the 660 is a cheaper card than an R9 270X so you're contradicting yourself.

He hasn't contradicted himself at all. He said the 660 Ti or 670 will perform a little better than the R9 270X, which they would but are old and almost out-dated cards. Most people only take them over the newer generation card with equal performance is because they're cheaper. A GTX 770 is going to perform better than any 6** series NVIDIA GPU, other than the 690 and it is a more recently released card. The whole "bottleneck" theory is that your PC is only as good as your worst part. Why are you mentioning an "intel celeron"? No one mentioned that at any point? Of course if you have a crappy CPU with a good GPU, the GPU is going to be limited a little but not much. No one said the FX series of CPU would affect your performance but fact is, they're dying out. An Intel build is going to be better, regardless.

Just to prove you guys wrong as you are amd fan boys and have no clue , I have gotten 2 sites that compare the cards specs wise, I'm no Nvidia fanboy and tbh in the battle I'd probably choose an hd 7990 over a gtx 780ti

Stop rambling on about stuff that simply does not matter. We don't care.

Now let this guy have his thread back.

Well he did have his point against "Sanctorum" when he said that a R9 270X is better than a GTX760 (clearly not), but his argument was already dead from the first post.

Anyways OP. The FX8320 actually performs better IN games than an i5, but the i5 is more efficient all around. Is your choice, If you want to sacrifice a little bit of GPU power for a better CPU. I also recommend getting the N200 over the PS08B, since is much better at the same price.
