I'm currently upgrading components in my pc.
I have just ordered a GTX 750 ti, now im going to replace my processor which is a AMD FX 4100 quad core. I want to replace my current one with a AMD FX 8350 8 core processor, will it fit in the slot where my 4100 currently is?
Will this processor be the best choice for PC gaming? or are there better ones to choose from that you recommend?

Can I get your motherboards model please, the 8320/8350 have higher TDP's than the 4100.
Also you power supply model.
Don't get the 8350, get a 8320 - It's not worth the extra.

I wouldn't want to put a 8 series FX CPU in a board like that without a cooler, the TDP is right at the top on stock clock rates. So if you do, watch your temps closely.
The PSU is fine.

You can get a 8320 it will work with no problems, you will just need to keep an eye on you VRM temps.
The FX6300 plays ARMA fine.

Or to keep the temps down on the VRM, ghetto rig a fan above it like I have. works a treat.
