as title says guys, i just got a new laptop so need a proper antivirus as i am currently using a trial of AVG. Any help is apreciated

To be honest I don't even have one.
I simply use the built in Windows Defender.

If you have Windows 8, you already have MSE installed. If you think you need something that performs better (you probably don't), Avast and AVG are both free. There is no need to pay for an antivirus.

dont use norton its awful and slows down your pc plus there is plenty of free ones out there i use avira, you get a litte add every week or so but there is a simple close button and i have used it for years now
