Then you can't JTAG it. The JTAG method was patched 5 years ago. You can RGH the console though. Depending on your dash, you can RGH1 or RGH2 it. Well, unless it's a xenon or zephyr mobo.

No, not at all. Completely different methods, basically the same exploit. They do most of the same things. RGH consoles do not boot instantly, whereas JTAGs do boot instantly. A few other differences as well.

Yes, they are basically the same thing lol. Different way to do the exploit, but the goal and outcome is the same.

to determine your Xbox 360's motherboard version. Also check your dashboard version and let us know each of those bits and I or someone else can tell you what sort of SMC hack would be best for your Xbox.

Assuming that your console has an HDMI port, and further assuming you were on a pretty recent dashboard when you got banned chances are that the RJTAG is going to be your best bet for quick boot times, but RGH2 would be an option as well.

Jtagging your own Xbox will be a pain, unless you really understand how to do it. It'd be easier to send it to someone, and probably cheaper for that matter. Also, it has to be on dash 7371 or lower (I believe) and if you were banned recently, than clearly you're not on that dash

It's risky if you have never done it before, Look up a tutorial on youtube

LiNK is nothing like free XBL at all. LiNK lets players with modified consoles connect and game together. It is impossible to play on XBL with a modified console, unless you purchase time on a server or a close friend of someone who works on a server like XBLSE or XBLH.
