I'm from West Virginia. The northern-most Southern state.

I don't live in Virginia, but it's still a southern state. Anything below the Mason-Dixon is considered southern. How could you say Virginia isn't southern anyway? It was the 8th to join the Confederacy. West Virginia and Virginia were only one state at the time.

I like in virginia dude... However, it's northern virginia. Only southern virginia is like that. Nova, as we call it, is much more liberal and not "redneck" at all.
Also, you should note that northern virginia is the reason why Obama won the state. Check a map of which counties voted democratically and you'd see that most of the south, not including norfolk or richmod, voted 70% republican.
My county alone has about 1,000,000 residents as opposed to the average county in the south. I know what virginia is like dude.
