It is my first gaming PC and I want to know if it is any good and what games it will run smoothly on high/ultra settings? I currently do not want to build my own gaming PC as it is my first PC and I want to know that it will work but more importantly I do not have the time as I have exams in less in a month. All opinions are welcomed but I just want to know if it is worth it?

Pre-builts are almost always a rip off. You could build this exact same PC for much less. Also, it has an AMD FX-8350 CPU. The FX series of CPU's are dying out so I wouldn't recommend them. Although, this PC will run the games you want at decent settings.

Thanks.I know it will be more expensive than building one myself but as I mentioned I don't have the time and don't feel confident enough to build one myself yet. Also, may I ask why you wouldn't recommend this processor?

He wouldn't recommend any AM3+ because to be honest the platform is long since dying due to AMD not wanting to continue with it. Also this FX8320 is overclockable to 8350 standards usually.

Here is a comparable build which is over a hundred pounds less. To me thats worth a little learning and hassle.

Or for a tad more, a more up to date Intel build.

When you include the OS and considering the case is 20 more expensive, this PC is really only 30 more expensive. I would rather pay that extra money to know that it will work and if it breaks it is on the company not me. I plan to build my own PC in the future but don't want to risk it for my first PC.

The problem with all pre-builds is they don't use components that are very good for gaming systems. The motherboard is the pre-built system isn't good, the processor is overpriced and the Intel one is better on performance and power too. The case isn't very good and the N200 on my build has better cable management. The power supply is a 550w Corsair gaming one, but they make various models so it could be crap.

I would honestly say even being able to learn how to build it alone is worth the effort as it gives a much better understand of computers. Also Scan.co.uk do offer insurance specifically for if you buy parts and screw it up when fitting. It totals around the same price of the prebuild and you're getting a better system.

I am not currently interested in building my own. I just want to know if it will run games like Battlefield 4 and what fps I could expect on high. Also, what fps I could expect on minecraft. I know I could build one for cheaper but I want to start with a pre-built PC that is guaranteed to work but if it doesn't it on the company not me.

on minecraft certainly over 100fps , bf4 probs about 50-70 , but this guy is right theres no point wasting money on a custom build when you could build your own even if theres hassle, believe me i payed 595 pound for my pc and the other day i made one on a site with 8 gig less ram but a better gpu for 100 pound cheaper, and that 100 pound cheaper got me a better case , psu and disk drive.

Your choice. get ripped off with a system that is stupidly overpriced for what it is, or save the money and get a few games AND a more powerful PC. your call...
