Hey I've been eager to build a gaming PC for a long time. I have a list of hardware and would like to know if the price is worth the performance of the computer (if that makes sense). Here is the list:

Case
NZXT Source 210 S210-001 Black Aluminum Brush / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - $40

Optical Drive
LITE-ON DVD Burner - Bulk Black SATA Model iHAS124-04 - OEM - $20

HDD
WD Re WD1003FBYZ 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Datacenter Capacity Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive - $109

Mobo
ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970 + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS - $84

Power Supply
CORSAIR CX series CX500 500W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply - $50

Memory
G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2400 (PC3 19200) Desktop Memory Model F3-2400C10D-8GZH - $80

Proccesor/CPU
AMD FX-6300 Vishera 3.5GHz (4.1GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 95W 6-Core Desktop Processor FD6300WMHKBOX - $120

Graphics
MSI R9 270 GAMING 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card - $180

The grand total is $858 and the $175 not listed is Windows 7, a mouse and a keyboard. If any of these items are not needed and should be changed please let me know. I have no knowledge to building PC's. I also would like to know if there is anything else i need to buy, I also have the money for all of these things as well as a monitor.

Get the OS via other means, I would invest the money saved in a R9 270X and an SSD if you can fit one in there.
