So I have built this computer already (IRL) [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
and I have been thinking about getting this video card to improve it now - [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

but im not sure if I should be upgrading my video card. I mean, its a lot of money and i looked at a comparison website to the one I have atm, [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Its a big increase i know, but is it worth it? will it just make my game smoother? or will i actually SEE a difference because of the higher settings I will be able to go on. Also if you think i should upgrade my video card, what should i aim at upgrading next? like cpu or getting dual monitor, dont say get better accessories because that step is done, I have a razer tartarus, vespula and naga so Ive got a lot of accessories for it.

FINALLY: do you reccommend getting a dual monitor as I will be using it by using one screen for playing games, the other screen will have twitch open and OBS for streaming or recording. Will I need 2 graphics cards to do that? and if i do will my computer be able to have 2 graphics cards running?

Im looking for an EXPERT to answer this and please could you provide a source of why (like, I am a computer engineer or something along the lines of computers or experience.

Thanks in advanced to whoever helps me

The 770 is a card which will make games run at 1080p on any setting! your CPU is alright but I'd suggest a power supply upgrade.

I use duel monitors all the time but I don't split games across them because it'll look silly.

I'm no expert I'm just a gamer who built his own pc and did some research.

Games primarily rely on the power of the chip on your graphics card so yes you would see an improvement. It would really depend which games you play to say whether the difference you'd see by changing settings would be large or small.

Please note that when changing to a more powerful graphics card its a sensible precaution to check the make and model of your power supply to ensure that it is able to meet the power requirements of the new card.
