In class today(last period), and I ended up making a boy cry because:

I was talking about how ridiculous the idea of cutting themselves was(random class talk session) and this boy screamed and said I was a homophobe and said I had no idea what it's like to be made fun of. It went on with him showing cuts all on his arms and legs and talking about how he cuts himself. This is where he began to cry.

I then proceeded to say, and I quote,

"...really..are you serious? Maybe if you weren't telling people you cut yourself, they wouldn't label you and you wouldn't be made fun of. You guys always say you cut yourself because you don't know what to do. If you were truly depressed, you'd seek help because cutting yourself until you look like a scratch board will definitely not help you."

He proceeded to cry and ran out the classroom. The part that that infuriated me was when he came back with a razor blade in his hand and blood on his fingers. The teacher of course rushed him to the nurse where he remained for the rest of the day; I'm guessing he got checked out.


What do you guys think about this because apparently, I'm facing a possible suspension for harassment.
