Adjusting your computer for best performance via the Control Panel

Let's get started:
  1. Open up your Control Panel via the Windows 7 start-up menu
  2. System & Security
  3. System
  4. Change Settings
  5. Advanced
  6. Performance -> Settings
  7. Adjust for best performance

This is very helpful and will help people that have slow computers, I Have Windows 8 Laptop that is Pre-Owned, I used to download a bunch of stuff on my old computer, it was so bad having alot of things, ut with the computer i have now, It takes about 7 seconds for this Laptop to come on.

This method made a fair improvement to my computer which is running Windows 7. Checking your processes via Task Manager is a good idea too.

The only reason I had a bunch of stuff on my Laptop was Because When I Was Downloading 1 thing, I Just Kept Clicking 'Next' 'Next' 'Next' Instead of Unchecking the Boxes :/

Ah, yes. Downloading these so called "utility applications" tend to slow your computer down which is a bit ironic.

You know what I mean, guys. Best as in best without doing anything major. This is just a few clicks but quite a big improvement to your performance.
