Hello TTG and welcome to my Ultimate modding tutorial thread!


This thread is not just tutorials for JTAGS, its for people who may not own a JTAG or may just prefer USB Mods. Some of the tutorials I post may be easy to a lot of people I understand that but for some may find difficult. I will be taking requests for any tutorials you would like me to do. If you have any problems then just PM and I will reply ASAP!

USB Tutorials:


1.
How to restore a USB's Default





Written Tutorial:


1. Insert the UBS into your computer.
Note: Make sure there is nothing on it! If anything is then make a backup for it.
2. Open your files and find your USB.
Note: It may be named as " Removable Disc. "
3. Right click on your USB and click " Format "
4. When the menu appears click " Restore Device Defaults. "
5. Click " Start. "
6.It may come up a warning sign. Click " ok. "

How to mod MW3 Split Screen:





Written Tutorial:


Step 1: Start a game on MW3 Split Screen and run about for a bit and end it. Go to system settings, Memory, Configure USB to XBOX and then go to HDD, Games, MW3 and move the Saved Game to the USB.

Step 2. Open Horizon and click Device Explorer, USB, Games and then right click MPDATA and Extract to desktop. Minimize Horizon.

Step 3. Open MW3 Offline Editor and click File, Open and Inject your MPDATA which you extracted to your desktop into MW3 Offline Editor. Mod whatever you want. P.S: When you click Unlock All it will come up something like this " You will have to get a couple of kills with each gun to unlock all attachments, camos e.t.c "
You will have to do that, sorry. Click File Save and close MW3 Offline Editor.

Step 4. Open Horizon ( should be minimized ) and click once on the MPDATA and click at the top of Device Explorer " Inject New File " and Inject the MPDATA on your desktop over the one in Horizon. Finished.

Step 5. Inject your USB to your XBOX and sign into the account with the MPDATA on it. Go to Split Screen and Congratulations you are 10th 80. Remember to get a couple of kills for each gun.

How to mod MW2 Split Screen:




Written Tutorial:



Xbox:

1. Start MW2 Split Screen and run about for a few moments. Leave the game.
Note: Make sure you are on the account you want to mod!
2. Go to System Settings, Storage, HDD, Games and Apps, MW2 and move your " Saved Game " to a USB.

Computer:

1. Download the files in the Description.
2. Open USB Xtaf Xplorer. Open your Device and click " Content " and there you will find your Saved Game. Keep clicking until you get to
somthing like this: " mp_data2345632. "
3. Extract that to your desktop. Minimize USB Xtaf.
4. Open MP Data Editor 2. Drag your saved game from your Desktop into MP Data Editor and select what you wish.
5. Save it. It will Rehash and Resign automatically. Close the program.
6. Go back to USB Xtaf and since your minimized it there is no need to re-open e.t.c. Click your saved game and click "
Delete " then click " Inject " and inject the saved game from the desktop.
7. Remove USB and go to your XBOX.

Xbox:

1. Go to System Settings, Storage, USB and move your Saved Game back to your HDD.
2. Load MW2 and go to Split Screen.

How to Mod your XBOX LIVE Avater:





Written Tutorial:


1. Move your account over to a USB and insert USB to laptop/computer.
2. Download Horizon and then Open it.
3. Find your device and then click Gamer Profiles then double click on your profile.
3. Avater colour editor and chose what colours you want. Save it.
4. Move your account back to your 360 and enjoy.

Written Tutorial:




1. Go to your clan tag in MW2 and put something that is easy to remember. For example " teab "
2. Go to system settings, memory, HDD, Gamer Profiles and move the account you want modded to a USB stick. You may need to configure USB.

Computer:

1. Download the files in the description.
2. After you have downloaded everything open USB Explorer.
3. Click " Content ", then you will see your profile. Keep clicking your profile until you get to this " E000000 e.t.c "
4. Extract that to your Desktop. Minimize USB Explorer.
5. Open your profile in HxD and on your pc/laptop keyboard click " Ctrl F " and in the box type in your clantag. For example: " teab "
6. When you have found your Clan Tag change it to anything you want but make sure it is only 4 letters and aslo make sure the " insert " button is off on your laptop/pc! Save it.
7. Open Hash Block Calculater. Open your profile that you extracted earlier in and click " tools " then calculate hash blocks." Close it.
8. Go back to USB Explorer and click " delete " then click " Inject " and inject your profile you extracted earlier. Do not inject the back up profile! Once thats done go back to the XBOX.

Xbox:

1. Move your account back to your HDD.
2. Load up MW2 and your Clan Tag should be modded!

JTAG Tutorials:




1.
How to make a alterIW4.Main.dll





Written Tutorial:



Computer.

1. Download the file in the description.
2. Make a folder on your desktop and place the MW2 .dll Creator there. This means the " alterIW4.Main.dll " should save here.
3. Open it. Click " Code Generator " and select what you want. Click " Generte " The code will appear in the other box you started in. Click " Create "
4. A message will appear saying where it has saved. If you cannot find it then go to your local disc and search " alterIW4.Main.dll "
5. Download the " xex " that you need.
Note: Do not rename the alterIW4.Main.dll unless you have a diffrent default_mp.xex.
If you try to change it a message will pop up notifying you not to change it!


JTAG:

1. Go to xexmenu. Press RB and Copy the " default_mp.xex " and paste that into your MW2 directory.
2. Go back to your USB and Copy the alterIW4.Main.dll to your MW2 Patches folder.
3. Load the " default_mp.xex " and go to System Link, Create game and then start it. Before you join with the retail go into the game mode you chose
in the MW2 .dll Creator.
4. Join the JTAG with the retail. Spawn in on both sides and press DPAD_Up on the JTAG. Your retail will be infected.
5. Leave the game, connect to XBL and go to a private match.
6. Invite 17 people and start it. It will count down from 5 seconds and then it will end and go into an online match.
