Every 25 posts you get a point then people can +rep you and every I believe 100 +reps you get a point also.It really just shows how active you are. Hope I helped

Every 25 posts you make you get 1 Rep Power. Every time someone reps you that is a reputation point. You need 100 reputation points for 1 rep power. I hope I explained it good enough

It's a some what meaningless thing, it can show you how reputable someone is.
People with high reputation points have done something for the community.
People with low rep haven't really done much around TTG.

At least that's how I see it. I also can see it being a sign of respect and/or proof of trustworthy. Say someone is a 3 year member with over 100 rep, if they were to say they are hosting a modded lobby, I would trust that they are legit. If you were a 3 year member with 2 rep, and said you were hosting a modded lobby, I would see that as a risk of illegitimate. Well year's don't matter tbh but high rep, more trustworthy the person is(Should be).
