Yes, I do think the XBone will be exploitable, "JTAG?" oo but there will more than likely be some sort of exploit eventually. There is always a high demand for modding, and so many people will be attempting to make the first exploited XBone that it will eventually happen. Every XBone is a devkit it just has to be authorized by Microsoft. That to me seems like it could be a breech for possible exploits, but it's probably not going to be that easy. I hope in a few years there will be exploitable consoles.

The thing about mods is they can always be possible.

I'm pretty sure there are people out there right now trying to figure this out whether you like it or not.

it definetly is able to be modded.
if you can build a system to run code then you can change the system to run different code.
if people figured out how to unban Xbox's and get a jtag/rgh online without being banned then they can defineitly mod it. its just going to take time until someone wants to waste $500 everytime he fails

Well, what if the other system was developed by different people on a different architecture? It wouldn't be simple.

To be honest, I personally have done enough research and my theory/ideas is this.
If there is external hard drives being allowed in the next update, then it would help some quite quickly. The Xbox One uses a modified virtual hard drive which is encrypted by SHA-256, a security algorithm.
So, what does this mean?
Well, the algorithm which has been used on the Xbox Virtual Drives (XVD or XVC) hashes a few locations. You can crack the keys or if you somehow managed to do what XOSLat done and mount the hard drive which basically loads the .XVD/XVC files as folders/containers you can view.
You can then mount it back with some modifications but I am sure there will be some checks or something to check if there has been any modifications... but maybe not (yet).

So yeah, I don't think you need any hardware exploits... there might be but it looks like it might be cheaper with the drive mounting.
(Btw, games, apps etc are stored inside the .XVD (.xvd is NOT an executable).

Yes, it will most likely be named after the person who made the exploit then the community will simply name call it a Xbox One Jtag to make things simple.
