It doesn't matter if its illegal or not. A 16 year old can't bring a gun to school. Period.

Xbox_One wrote This is something MANY people want to know. Why do psychopaths want to kill innocent people? Sadly, nobody really knows, there are different motives every time a kid threatens or actually commits to shooting a school. It wasn't until Columbine when school shootings became popular. Most of the time, it is for vengeance because someone got bullied and other bad things done to them and it all builds up until they let it out....

Yeah, but I don't get this. He had a lot of friends and was liked pretty much by everybody. Why ruin that?
It's what you don't see. Of course your going to see him with friends and laughing at school, but at home is a different story. A lot of school shootings motives had nothing to do with the school itself. His homelife could have been depressing and depression can put someone threw a lot and to the point where all they want to do is shoot up a school where innocent people are. When you are at a point in your life where you feel like the only way is to kill other people and yourself, your not going to think "of hes innocent let me not kill him"

Well as far as I heard, he had a nice family too. I guess we'll find out more after spring break

Less people in the UK own guns that the US. Is it even legal to carry concealed weapons in the UK like it is in the US? Just wondering.

Yeah i suppose it might have something to do with the fact we're not allowed guns what so ever, only professional hunters or whatever xD

The FBI has actually got a list of things which are usually the traits of school shooters:
Almost always male, with few exceptions
Almost always Caucasian (in America and Caucasian dominate countries)
    Easily frustrated
    Poor coping skills
Study and talks about violent subjects
    Show interest in the military
    Signs of depression
A lack of trust towards people
They might lose interest in activities they were previously very involved with
They might be narcissistic and have a high sense of self-importance, sometimes to mask feelings of unworthiness or insecurity, and feel entitled to special treatment.
They might have feelings of alienation, isolation, sadness and/or loneliness.
They might have difficult relationships with their parents who accept their unusual behavior and aren't intimate.
The student has access to weapons, often owned by the family.
Bullied by others. 84% of school attackers reported being bullied and persecuted by others, even those that committed suicide or was killed on the scene left evidence behind of past bullying.

Many of them go through romantic breakups or an academic failure prior to committing the shooting, but even then there are always exceptions.
