How about this, I'm friends with the guy who wrote the creepypasta. It took him 20 minutes as a writing exercise and he (nor do alot of us) understand why it randomly became popular.

His name is Tom Lever, he's from England and used to run the Facebook page Ivysir. I started gaming with him on Team Fortress 2 about a year ago.
