It depends entirely on whether or not it's actually possible.
The only way that backwards time travel seems feasible to me is if an entirely new Universe is created right from the point they travel back to.
If this doesn't happen, them simply being on Earth would change the sequence of events which led to the time machine being built in the first place.
In which case, them coming back in time wouldn't even be possible because the time machine might not even be there.

I don't think time travel will ever become a reality. I believe that if it was real, somebody from 1000 years in the future would have come to visit us and made it known that they were there. If I were to travel 1000 years back in time, I would have brought my futuristic medicines and other things to help people that we can't help with current technologies, not just keep it secret.

I doubt it. They wouldn't want to alter the time line to a point where time travel was never discovered.

If time travel were announced to the public I think it would be awful. I also think if one company had all control over time travel it would be just as bad.

It just shouldn't be a thing.

I remember back to 2003 someone posted on a Blog saying that there will be the first african american president in 2008 and that came true. I did't see it until about 2010 though so it could of been fake

They could be but they are not allowed to let anybody know their from the future, that's why you don't see anyone admitting their from the future.

Steven hawking threw a party for time travelers and didn't announce it until the next day. No one showed up.

Maybe someone came back and triggered ww2.

Someone knew how ww2 started so they came back to set it in motion.

For example.

I know Apple was made.

So I could go back in time and tell Steve jobs to go to his friends house that evening. Later that day he'd see the computer his friend was working on and become inspired.

I believe that there are time travelers among us, but they may be invisible. They come and take our things and misplace them to mess with us.
