Elementary OS Luna, I put it on one of my old computers and it runs really fast and it looks a lot like MAC.

Linux Mint or Ubuntu for me, they are both really easy to use

I've just tried out Elementary OS Luna and I have to say it's great, got loads of apps and stuff. Has sort of a mac ish feel to it. It's lovely to use

I like Crunchbang because it's so close to what I like by default. No DE, Openbox with Tint2, and not too much useless garbage from the start.
