I would recommend you go with any of Asus's line of laptops there really nice.

You could by pretty much any stock laptop for that price.

Not one for lappy's but if you go to MSI's site and use their "Where to buy" option you can find your favourite retailer and then look to see how pricing is. After a quick look this seems to be in your price range.
