I have had it seeing people on here who find it difficult to construct a simple sentence. The abbreviations and coined terms do not bother me, I am all for people using "u" instead of "you" etc. that is no problem. However, what does annoy me, is when people mistake simple words or fillers as such:
"I have sent you an private message"
Now maybe this will come across as tedious, but before joining the site it clearly says:
I would expect that any 13 year old be it male or female, would understand that stringing together simple sentences that make complete sense will get them a hell of a lot further than these petty errors. And whilst I'm on this topic, can people try and induct a little bit of grammar, structure your sentences correctly. Hell, even a little bit of punctuation wouldn't go amiss!
Thank you if you read this, I'm sure I shall get a few tedious remarks however that is the process I gather, it is a rant after all.

The only thing that really bothers me when it comes to how people type is when they say 'Defiantly' instead of 'Definitely'
It really isn't hard to spell it properly, and it defiantly gets on my nerves.
There's also the flipside though, when people try too hard to make their sentences look intelligent, and you can't help but read it in the voice of Stephen Fry.
"Your replies have been infuriatingly and intrinsically irrelevant, I am afraid that if you are not able to reply cogently then any further attempts to communicate on this post will be regarded as spam."
You're not writing a business letter, stop.
My signature sums up the rest of my views quite well though.
In short, agreed.

I think you need to take in consideration not every person on the internet/TTG have english as their first language. I've started learning french and a bit korean and let me tell you it is extremely hard and does take time. You're required to be at least 13y/o to register on here but that doesn't really mean you can expect everyone to speak fluent english, if it's that big of a problem for you i'd like to see you try to communicate in their native language.

English is said to be the hardest language to learn.
If you're not fluent, it can be hard.
I know people at the age of 40+ that use 'txt tlk'...
It's just easier for them, and it makes typing faster.
I don't use it, and I don't like when people use it but it's their choice.
I can type at 112 wpm with correct spelling/grammar and I actually enjoy speed typing and using correct spelling and what not.

as I am almost 18 I still make simple mistakes like that...usually when I'm tired or so. you can't automatically assume they are underage when making mistakes like that because we are all human and humans aren't perfect.

Did you read my post? I am a fan of abbreviated terms and words, I'm actually writing about (as the title suggests) viable sentences.
