When i try a join a server on dayz commander it comes up with this [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Check that arma is updated at the top of the install tab on commander

Run Arma 2 and Operation Arrowhead at least ONCE! Then Check the Beta Patch for Arma 2 and check, if all is Up to Date. If you were banned, make sure that steam Wont update the CD Key to you new one. Hope this helped

Do you have installed the Operation arrowhead Beta? if so, delete that game it will update OA to 1.63 version and you need 1.62v
