Well you heard wrong, simply put. Balance of probability is that if we crack the cure to cancer, we would be a couple of steps away from immortality. immortality would make a hell of a lot more money than cancer research developments...

As for AIDS, it is most common in 3rd world countries, does that not spur your thought?

I've heard a few theories about how AIDS came into the world when I was growing up. The two I remember hearing when I was little was that it was man-made like you have said, or someone tried to mate with a monkey and got it like that. All in all, I'm probably going to side more with someone tried to mate with a monkey of some sort, the virus started there and then got spread around.

I dont think it was man made. You said that you believe its to reduce population but AIDS is a very slow killing disease. it takes like 70-80 years
