How do you shrink a 50% Polyester 50% Cotton T-Shirt?
Is it even possible?
I'm trying to make a OF pocket tee fit from a large to a medium or at least shrink some.

Wash it in really hot water. Then Dry it on a really hot setting. If that doesn't work it probably won't shrink.

Would it fade or have any bad effects on the shirt?

I don't think so as long as you don't put bleach in there.

Flip the shirt inside out to save any designs from melting.

Just wash it and dry it very good. For a better way I would look it up on google.
