I am looking to buy a capture card to hook up my gamecube to play on my laptop.

Know of any good ones or have any suggestions? I'm not looking to spend a lot on it but I do want it to work diligently.

Thanks,
___

I'd say your best bet would be either a HD PVR (classic), a Roxio HD game capture or an Elgato Game Capture.

Bear in mind, however, that the Elgato has a playback function of up to an hour, so you can still rewind and record clips if you forgot to in the first place

Why don't you just download a Gamecube emulator? It'd be a lot cheaper.
