Sanctorum wrote Just wondering, would I be better buying this for a Jasper or waiting for the CR4 XL? I have a retail Jasper which I would like to RGH and dual nand, I just want it to have the best possible boot times.
Yes, wait for the CR4 XL, the Stone isn't compatible with phat consoles and the CR4 XL supposedly has insta boot for all phat consoles (except Xenons) ;)

100% agreed. If the Cr4 XL does as well as they say for phats it'll be golden. In the mean time if you can't wait and can find one RJTAG would be your current option.

I was considering the R-JTAG as I've had this Jasper sitting around for a while but it's really hard to find an R-JTAG kit here in the UK, now-a-days anyway. I will just wait for the CR4 XL and hope that the boot times are as good as T-X claim. Fingers crossed.

The stone is for slim consoles only.

Ephemera wroteneto888 wrote I have been using coolrunner rev d on coronas
Best way is just 2-3 timing file and have it on phat for coronas
Worst boot times it gives u is 30 sec
Just saying it's $8 per chip
But either way nice find
So you're saying you use clones instead of authentic products? Then you sell them to customers? Do you even know what those can do? I suggest you stop being a cheap **** and get TX products. Installed 2 for my friend even though one lives till this day the other f***** up his slim. STAY AWAY FROM CLONES!

And there is nothing at all wrong with clones. You should stop talking before you embarrass yourself. If anything, clones are better because they lower the overall price of a console. It isnt the clones functionality that is the problem, its the installers. If you dont know what your doing you shouldnt be involved with soldering and such anyways!

Ephemera wroteIf you actually bother to look at that thread, you would see the photo of the install which shows the real problem is the seller's horrific soldering skills, not the clone. The only reason people have false views on clone chips is that T-X frown on them, because they lose customers over them. The chips are more or less the same, just cheaper. If the installer can solder correctly and isn't a moron, the chip and console will run fine. I know many people who only use clones and have never had an issue.neto888 wrote I have been using coolrunner rev d on coronas

Also, oops.. never realised the Stone was for Slim consoles only! I guess I'll be waiting for the CR4 XL then, just hope it's as good as T-X claim.

You're embarrassing yourself supporting chips that'll fry your CPU to save a couple bucks.

Get out of my thread. Start your own if you want to spread misinformation about unskilled installers blaming hardware.

Seriously? You would be suprised at the people that use clones, Just like Sanctorum Said Half the time its because people dont know what there doing and want to blame it on the chip, when clearly its not the chip its them not having a freaking clue as to what there doing. I use clone, and have had absolutely no problems. Also Everyones just mad because the dgx stone is competing with some of the higher dollar chips. Find another chip that cost roughly around $14 that will boot a corona in 1st to 3rd glitch consistently.

I support them and saw the installer did a horrible job with it
And yes they work same as a original and I will keep using them as long as I can
I'm gonna try dgx stone now Order 30 of them just because the reviews getting them next week
They work the same and it's a lower cost then tx product

Okay your choice but I ask you a simple question to all of you what soldering stations do you all use? I'd like an answer from those who use clones please.
