They get a thrill out of it many ex-shoplifters say they do its like a drug to them.

I tried to steal a candy bar when I was 8. I was caught ofcourse because I didn't know what I was doing. I felt so bad after I was caught and I've never done it again. It's a horrible thing and I don't know how other people are able to do it so freely.

Stealing per say is in our nature ,If you look back though out our history we as a society have actually endorsed stealing on a massive scale.
You only have to look at the films we enjoy watching and the games we enjoy playing to see this.
Yes stealing is wrong but at the same time we love to romanticise the villans and the acts (no matter how horrid)that have made them so infamous.

Poeple need cash and things to sell,

People usually still things to sell so they can buy drugs.

Its because people are to lazy to go out and get a job, but will put the effort into stealing. People usually pawn stolen items off in pawn shops too.

I hate it when their excuses are that they're forced in to robbery and illegal activity becuase it's hard to get a job. So just because jobs are hard to earn, they have to take it away from a person who has worked hard for their belongings. I remember when I was a kid and our bikes were stolen. I was devastated, we didn't have a lot of money neither so we couldn't go out and buy another.

Me, my brother, sister and my mum were all upstairs. me and my brother had our xboxes fairly loud so you couldnt hear much, My mum was up with us for like 10 minutes. She went back downstairs and someone had walked straight through our backdoor and taken 140 of my christmas money from the worktop that was going to be put into my bank account and my mums cards. They must have been watching my mum go upstairs from our garden and now I am extremely creeped out.

All of us at some point in our lives experience theft. Even if that is you personally having your belongings stolen or if you have a friend or family member that has had it happen to them. It is a common occurrence which quite frankly should not happen.
Even elderly people are targeted. Fairly recently here in the UK an elderly woman was mugged for her handbag. Inside her handbag was her husbands ashes. How disrespectful can people be, seriously.

When I was younger, I went to a store and grabbed two movies and put them down my pants. I was walking out and I got caught, I was very lucky. No action was taken besides a warning. However since that day I have not done anything like that, the possible outcome from this more than likely scared me back then. So yea we have all once stole something.

Now onto your rant, I agree with you people who steal really make me mad. People are cheap and don't feel like buying it. Even when friends ask to borrow something and never return it.

I hate people that steal, their just jealous because they don't have the things they want which you have. If you cant afford it then try and safe up somehow. get a job that'll help ya
