What Anti-Virus/Virus Protection would you say 100% works and works well?

macafee is what i use and it gets the job done

Malaware Bytes, is in my opinion tbh.

I have Malware-Bytes and Avast free.

Both fantastic in my opinion.

If you want it to work very very well, I'd suggest a paid AV.
Kaspersky, ESET, and (I am pretty sure) Norton are some of the best ones for detection rate recently. Keep in mind that the programs change constantly though.

100% effectiveness is impossible, but a good free AV like Avast or AVG will do what you need and there's no point in paying for antivirus software for most people. To all suggesting Malwarebytes, it's not a full antivirus.

Just use CommonSense2014..

or, use MSE+malwarebytes.

Avast, Malwarebytes and Comodo (optional)

I personally use Avast and Malwarebytes and haven't had a single problem using them and pc is more secure.

No point in having a AV just either one run your browser sandboxie and just run downloaded programs in a virtual box or B; pay for a AV just to get destryed by a virus that is scripted to either kill your av and internet access then it spreads like wild fire or B: a FUD virus that will bypass any firewall or AV you have set up =) AV is pointless

I find Malware Bytes to be the best antivirus. It has yet to let me down.
